Event Notice

To our valued stakeholders

After conducting our investigations with the relevant authorities regarding the current COVID-19 situation in South Australia, we are pleased to report that we will be proceeding with this year’s GMUSG Conference and Trade Expo in Whyalla 17-19 August.

Due to the changing nature of the COVID-19 health response, GMUSG will continue to actively monitor the health directives and recommendations, and continue to seek information from official sources to ensure that this event delivered in a safe and responsible manner for delegates, exhibitors and presenters. Any additional updates which impact this event will be communicated to you immediately.

Additional protocols will be present this year including mandatory QR code check-ins, mask wearing inside the venue, temperature checks at the entrance and seated eating and drinking.

This activity contributes a significant economic benefit to local suppliers, the mining and resources industry, and local accommodation and hospitality providers. We thank our stakeholders for their continued support of this important regional event. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us at conference@gmusg.com for more assistance. We look forward to seeing you soon in Whyalla!
